it does not easily work with Vista November 16, 2008 Mark (Pittsburgh) I haven't tried downloading softs, but it does not work with Vista directly. also, small mouse, hard to fit to hand if you are using a different shape mouse.
This thing's too good! November 16, 2008 ROSE RN (NY) I put this on my older computer running XP and the computer went to work perfectly. No drivers were needed so if the hardware wizard starts don't bother...they're not needed. Great gadget.
Generally a good mouse - One fatal flaw November 15, 2008 Neo Anderson (Georgetown, Guyana) I used the V220 mouse in XP, Vista and Linux. All three systems recognized and installed the mouse in a few seconds. The mouse is a slightly small however the contours make it feel very comfortable in your hand. Response was smooth and the buttons and trackball have very nice feel while in use. So you wonder why I only gave it 3 stars. This is the problem. After some use the mouse causes my all of browser windows to scroll to the bottom. As soon as the mouse is over the browser window it immediately goes to the bottom of the page. This happens both in Firefox and Explorer. The only solution I have found is to turn off the mouse for a few seconds.
The software from Logitech is bloated and of little practical value.
It's valuable for purchasing November 11, 2008 Yuhuan Jin It works well since I recieved it, though sometimes the mouse can't move, which is a common disadvantage for low price wireless mouse.
Decent wireless mouse November 10, 2008 Kumar Ravichandran (Greenbelt, MD USA) Serves the purpose. Small, looks neat and works out of the box on just about any OS(tried on Mac OSX, Win XP and Debian Linux). The dongle is kinda large however, the size of an average flash drive, actually. Nevertheless, it works and is fairly priced, so no complaints.
